Does it hurt?

For most people it does not hurt.  Anesthetic creams is applied prior to treatment about 30 mins prior to treatment and continually applied to decrease any pain or discomfort during the procedure.

We always ensure any discomfort is kept to a minimum and take our time to ensure the client is at ease and comfortable.

 

How long does it take to heal?

It can take the skin approx 5 to 10 days to heal.  At first the treated area will be more dark and intense and then the colour will soften as it gets closer to healing completely.

Treated area will be more exact, dark and intense when first treated. Healing, which consists of scaling and peeling can take up to 2 weeks maximum.  The skin will take 5-10 days to return to normal.

 

How long does it last?

 Up to about 18 months.  Results will vary depending on factors such as skin type, exposure to sun, after care, and resistance to pigment.  .

 

How long does the procedure take?

Please allow for 2 hours.  Depending on skin type and nature of eyebrows.

 

Retouches

All initial tattooing includes one complimentary retouch within 6-8 weeks after the first application. This is to touch up any fading to ensure colour lock in and lasting results.  The initial touchup is just as important as the first initial treatment to achieve the best results possible. . 

 

 When would I need to get an another touch up/colour boost?

 It all depends on the individual’s skin and how well the skin absorbs the ink/fades.  We would need to assess whether a touch is needed.  However normally we recommend every 12-18 months to keep the brows looking defined and fresh.

 

Can I do this treatment whilst pregnant or breast feeding?

 

Due to the anesthetic in the numbing cream we apply prior to the procedure, we are unable to perform the procedure on the individual whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.
